She was predeceased by: her father Dean Gray; her husband Robert Schleis; her parents-in-law, Jerome and Margaret Schleis; and her brothers-in-law, Joseph Schleis (Dorothy), Donald Schleis and Lawrence Schleis (Charlene).
She is survived by: her mother Gloria Gray (Hebert) of Deloit, IA; her children, Jessica Riedell (Curtis) of Mundelein, IL, Geoffrey Schleis of Wall Lake, IA and Elizabeth Leisinger (Charlie) of Wall Lake, IA; her grandchildren, Samantha Riedell (Austin) of Arthur, IA, Faith Riedell of Las Vegas, NV, Casjen Riedell of Mundelein, IL, Margaret and Dennis Leisinger of Wall Lake, IA; her great grandchildren, Raelynn and Georgia Riedell; her siblings, Channing Gray (Lisa) of Deloit, IA, David Gray (Cindy) of Deloit, IA, Debra Griffin of Deloit, IA and Delores Ryan (Allen) of Correctionville, IA; and her sisters-in-law, Eileen Naeve (Melvin) of Hesperia, CA, Ruth Ann Schleis of Ida Grove, IA and Betty Schleis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (102 5th St, Wall Lake, IA 51466). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
