She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Mathwig and Amanda Mathwig (Wuerdemann); her husband George Caldwell; and her siblings, Albert, Louis Mathwig, Edna Taylor and Rosetta Olson.
She is survived by: her children, Edward Caldwell (Betty) of Marshall, MN, Patricia Van Meter (Lee) and Mary Caldwell of Lake City; and her sister Dorothy Mathwig of Omaha, NE.. She is also survived by five grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
