She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Mithelman and Mable Mithelman (Stephen); her husband Gordon F. Chrystal; her sons, David and Daniel; her grandson David Allen Jr.; her son-in-law Donald Akers; and her brothers, Harold and Keith.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Akers of Walker and John (Janice) of Center Point; her daughters-in-law, Iris of Centralia and Janet of Cedar Rapids; and her brother-in-law Alton Chrystal of Ankeny. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
