He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Burke of Walker; his children, Shannon Burke (Lori) of Walker, Kelly Avis (Scott) of Walker and Holly Rosauer (Al) of Brandon, Iowa; his grandchildren, Taylor, Connor (Sydney Burke), Tyler (Tanner Avis) and Curtis (Leah Rosauer); his great grandchildren, Ashton Avis and Averie Avis; his siblings, Jeanne Ross (Bob), Kay Burke, Colleen Zangerle and Peg Nims; and his brothers-in-law, Bob Holland and Mike McEnany. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
