He is survived by: his wife Jocelyn Rivero Snyder of Walker; his children, John Snyder (Beth) of Independence, Stephanie Camargo of Cedar Falls and Michael Snyder (Christy) of Mt. Vernon; his grandchildren, John Jr, Ashley, Heather, Thomas, Austen, Zoe, Helen, Emile, Lara and Evelyn; and his brothers, Harlan Peterson (Beth) of Aurora, Darwin Peterson (Kathy) of Oelwein and Darrel Peterson (Vicki) of Garrison. He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
