He was loved and cherished by many people including: his grandparents, Jake and Mame Peyton; his former wife Shirley Ann Strang; his children, Jeanie Sturtz (Roger) of Urbana, IA, Barbara Simmons and Jake Simmons; his granddaughters, Peggy Sturtz of Cedar Rapids, IA and Amelia Fink (Jonathan); his great grandchildren, Carter and Carson Colson; his brother-in-law Bruno Lensing of Meza, AZ; his parents, Milo Simmons and Helen Simmons; his wife Shirley Simmons; his children, Anthony Simmons and Elizabeth Simmons; and his sister Lois Anne Lensing. He was also cherished by many niece and nephews, and special friends.
