He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rhoads and Gatha Rhoads (Martin). He is survived by: his wife Jane Brown; and also, Jane Rhoads, Becky Stansberry (Randy), Jim Rhoads (Terri), Lori Mackey (Tim), Terri Gauley (Greg) and Brad Rhoads (Cara). He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Anchor Bible Church building fund, 275 Green Street West, Center Point, Iowa 52213.
