He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leonard, Isabelle Michael, Paul and Marilyn Schaul; and his siblings, Kara Michael and Patrick Michael.
He is survived by: his parents, Stanley Michael of Walker and Linda Sturbaum (Schaul); his wife Silver Michael of Miami, FL; his stepfather John Sturbaum of Walker; his siblings, Jared of Blair, WI, Brett of Walker, Kallee (Dequayvious Martin) of Cedar Rapids and Alexander Sturbaum of Waterloo; his nieces, Allaunna Brooks and Izabella Martin; his parents-in-law, Yosup and Myunghee Chung of Ansan; his sister-in-law Wonmi Chung of Ansan; and his pet Joy. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins.
Chad went on to work for the AIDS Healthcare Foundation in Florida.
