He was predeceased by: his siblings, James and Winifred. He is survived by: his wife Ann; his children, Shawn (Patricia) of Westminster, Steven (Marta) of Overland Park and Linda Purcell (Jeff) of Jacksonville; and his parents, Virgil Heisdorffer and Mary Hannon Heisdorffer. He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
