She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Glunz and Hilda Glunz (Bell); her husband Stanley; her son Steven Stender; and her siblings, Carma Hendricks and Harvey Glunz.
She is survived by: her sons, Douglas Stender (Diane), Michael Stender (Debbie), Loren Stender (Kitty) and Greg Stender (Robyn); her daughter-in-law Rita Stender; and her grandchildren, Kara Weems, Kelly Vanstory (Penn), Candace Everts (Eric), Christian Stender (Jo Ellen), Cary Stender (Jacqueline), Craig Stender (Devona), Stewart Stender (Andrea) and Danielle Wright (Lowell). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Walcott Fire Department, Durant Ambulance, or Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.
