It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Farley of Walcott, Iowa, born in Peoria, Illinois, who passed away on July 4, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her daughters, Jean Johnson (Russ) of Blue Grass, Joy Ostofi (Mike) of Durant and Juliet Gilleland (Doug) of Merrill, WI; her grandchildren, Denise Grove (Weston) of Walcott, Beth Gimm (Chris) of Davenport, James Whitlock of Davenport, Orry Whitlock of Davenport, Trevor Ostofi of Durant and Hannah Fox (Brian) of Davenport; her stepgrandchildren, Zach Johnson (Katie) of Wilton and Kayla Evanovich IV (Joe) of LeClaire; her great grandchildren, Anna, Christopher, Maggie Gimm, Wesley Grove, Owen, Carter Johnson, Joey Evanovich V, Finn and Aiden Fox; and her sisters-in-law, Ruby Tucker and Patsy Remmert. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
