He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger Rekemeyer and Luella Rekemeyer (Broders); his parents-in-law, Esther and Everett Treimer; his sister Lana; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Morris, Eleanor Niemann, Bev Treimer, Jerry Niemann and Gene Pahl.
He is survived by: his wife Leila Treimer; his children, Kenneth Rekemeyer and Kristine Lyon (William); his sister Donna Sprengelmeyer (Marty); and his siblings-in-law, Kenneth Treimer and Elaine Pahl. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Gloria Dei Lutheran Church or the Durant Ambulance.
