She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hayne and Martha B. Hayne (Dettman); her husband Bernhard "Ben" H. Beitel; her daughter Cyndi Beitel; her sisters, Dolores Carman, Myrna Horton and Dorothy McVey; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Lovewell, Jerry McVey and Karl Otte.

She is survived by: her sons, Darren Beitel (LaDonna) of Davenport and Mark Beitel of Stockton, Iowa; her granddaughter Alyssa Beitel (Brett Marbach) of Masonville, Iowa; her siblings, Patricia Lovewell of Taylor Ridge, Illinois and John Hayne of Davenport; and her siblings-in-law, Jack Horton of Rock Island, Illinois and Martha Otte of Princeton.

Memorials may be given to the Walcott American Legion Post# 548 or the Walcott Fire Department.
