She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Beale and Vera Beale (Martens); her former husband Charles Moss; her husband William "Bill" Schafer; and her siblings, Sharon Whitworth, Tammie Beale and Mark Beale.

She is survived by: her siblings, Nancy Geary, Mary Fulton and Martin Beale (Claudia) of Davenport. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Scott County Humane Society or Kings Harvest Pet Rescue.
