She was predeceased by: her parents, Isaac "Ike" and Lucy Aldape (Valle); and her former husband Pete. She is survived by: her former husbands, Peter F. Castro and Kenneth Buchmeyer; her husband Ken; her sons, Michael Castro, Steven Castro (Joette) and Thomas Castro; her stepchildren, Joan Buchmeyer (Stuart Weinbrenner), Andrew Buchmeyer (Gretchen), Netherlands, Janet Gagne (Paul), Joy Howe (Blake) and Steven Buchmeyer (Elizabeth); and her siblings, Paul Aldape of Davenport, David Aldape of Davenport, Mary Simonton (Bob) of Davenport, Rich Aldape of Davenport, Chris Aldape of Davenport and Elizabeth Aldape. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren.
