Barbara Sissel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Sissel of Walcott, Iowa, who passed away on July 1, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Sohsen and Gladys Sohsen (Eriksen); and her brother Ronald Sohsen. She is survived by: her husband Michael Sissel; her children, Jesse Brockmann (Kendra) of North Liberty, Amanda Tomlin (Blaze) of Mayslick and CJ Sissel (Stephanie) of Walcott; her stepgrandchildren, Katrina, Maverick, Reissen, Chaiten, Janet and Shelby; and her siblings, Judy Germone (Larry) of Redding, Nancy Sohsen and Larry Sohsen (Susan) of New Hope, Minnesota. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Walcott Fire Department or Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
