He is survived by: his children, Amanda Balk (Brehme), Ron Highland of Strawberry Point and Cris Brehme of Strawberry Point; his daughter-in-law Jackie Hunt of Arlington, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Olivia Balk, Trent Highland, Zachary Brehme, Dylan Happel, Angel, Sam, Patience, Cris and Chloe Fortin; his great grandchild Avery Brehme-Burington; and his sisters, Julie Torklson (Scott) of Elkader Iowa and Mary Olson. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and Cousins.
