He is survived by: his wife Darlene Murphy of Volga; his children, Shayne Murphy (Diane) of Manchester, Stacy Fletcher (Mark) of Arlington and Shawn Murphy (Amy Kephart) of Hawkeye; his grandchildren, Nathan, Brittany Murphy, Jason Briggs (Kelly Fairbanks), Jessie Kramer (Jacob), Julie Briggs (Jake Haynes), Jonathan Briggs (Nevaeh), Hunter Fletcher (Jinna Latham), Avery Fletcher, Marlan Fletcher, Gracie Fletcher, Sofie Fletcher, Chasity Clayton (Brandon), Cheyenne Murphy, Shawn Murphy Jr. and Christina Murphy; his great grandchildren, Jackson, Jaylnn, Jennifer, Mylah, Sarina, Jamison, Juddson, Grant and River; his siblings, Audrey Hofer of Randalia, Marilyn Bolte of Albert City, Jim Murphy of West Union and Dorothy Eckheart of Arlington; and his pet Bo. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
