Loretta Briggs Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Loretta Briggs of Volga, Iowa, who passed away on September 17, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dean VanAmburg and Edna VanAmburg (Newton); her husband John Briggs; and her siblings, Dale, Bruce VanAmburg and Jane Paradis.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Briggs (Bobbie Jo Nelson) of Walker, Bob Briggs (Cindy) of Urbana and Gina Lou Briggs of Volga; and her siblings-in-law, George "Dick" Briggs (Mary) of Lisbon and Shirley VanAmburg of Mechanicsville. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
Because of COVID-19 concerns, masks are recommended at the church.
