She was predeceased by: her father Leonard Holst; her brother David; and her in-laws, Ed and Barb Zimpfer. She is survived by: her mother Doris Holst (Rath) of Vinton; her husband Rick Zimpfer; her siblings, Yvette Baker (Frank) of Vinton and Barry Holst (Karen Ackman) of Vinton; her nephews, Shelby Baker (Ashley) of Vinton, Jared Baker (Jannette) of Cedar Rapids, Thad Dulin (Sarah Peterson) of Vinton and Logan Holst of Vinton; and her caregiver Will. She is also survived by 5 great-nephews; and her great-niece.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E 6th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A reception was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the G. Luckey Amercian Legion Post #57 (105 N R Ave, Vinton, IA 52349).
