He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr. William Turner and Janet Turner (Wilson); and his niece Anna Wiedmann. He is survived by: his wife Linda Kasten; his children, Arthur Turner of Newhall, Mandy Shakespeare (Christopher) of Robins and Michelle Blaine (Roland) of Excelsior Springs, MO; his grandchildren, Trai Shakespeare (Angela), Dominik Shakespeare (Kalina), Roland, Devin and A. J. Blaine; his great grandchild Evelyn Shakespeare; and his siblings, Charles Turner (Carla) of Ames, Sue Wiedmann of Story City and Judy Shaw of Minneapolis. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Central Presbyterian Church (110 2nd St E, Newhall, IA 52315). A reception was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
A memorial fund has been established.
