He is survived by: his children, Jason Benson of Tipton, Eric Benson of Talladega, AL, Blake Benson of Vinton, Cindy Blackburn (Charlie) of Marion, Sally Benson of Vinton and Lacey Mason (Dan) of Kellogg, IA. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
