He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Geater and Esther Geater (Johnson); his son James Michael Geater; and his brother Robert Geater (Carolyn). He is survived by: his son Tim Geater; his close friend Mickey Michel; his stepdaughter Misty Meister; his granddaughters, Tessa, Taya, Trista, Tiearra, Tivianna and Stormie; his great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Kinsley and Harper; and his siblings, Leonard Geater (Marlys), Mary Rusk (David), Kathy Novotny (Warren) and Barb Meister (Roger).
