With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Virginia L. (Glandorf) Bahr of Vinton, Iowa, who passed away on June 27, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry J. Glandorf and Emma Glandorf (Voss); her husband Elwyn H. Bahr; and her sister Esther Spoerl. She is survived by: her children, Tim Bahr (Karen) of Vinton, Jeff Bahr (Terri) of Garrison, Donna Kunkel (John) of Des Moines and Susan DeVries (Kraig) of LaPorte City; her grandchildren, Vanessa Bechthold (Darren), Valerie Rollins (Josh), Valecia Zahorik (Mike), John Bahr (Amanda), Michael Bahr (Elise), Joel Bahr (Alyssa), Jayson Kunkel, Taylor Kunkel, Reece DeVries and Ryan DeVries; and her brother-in-law Roger Bahr (Karen) of Walker. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund has been established.
