He was predeceased by: his sister Nicole; his grandfather Larry; his uncle Nick; and his cousin Sawyer Jacobson. He is survived by: his parents, John Jacobson (Lisa) of Center Point and Sandra Venenga (Tony) of Lone Tree; his children, DezaRea Jacobson of Center Point and Thomas McDonald of Cedar Rapids; his siblings, Cody Jacobson of Vinton and Dillion Kibbie of Shellsburg; his grandfathers, Ernie Jacobson (Lois) and Ed Greenhaw (Nora); his stepsiblings, Kelsey Schulze of Center Point, Cody Schulze of Center Point, Brittney Mortimer (Hailey), TJ Kunkel of Lone Tree, Lucas Kunkel of Niota and Seth Kunkel of Lone Tree; his nieces and nephews, Ava Davis, Olivia Davis, Davina Fouarge, Renee Jacobson and Shaylee Jacobson; his uncles, Jason Jacobson, Scott Venenga and Steve Venenga; and his aunt Jerri Ondrashek (Charles).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E 6th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
The family requests that memorials may be made to help the family with Tyler's funeral expenses.
