It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shannan Hughes (Vinton, Iowa), who passed away on December 27, 2019, at the age of 47, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Lorri Hughes of Palo and Philip Hughes of Toddville; his sister Tracy Hughes (Thanh Nguyen) of California; his grandmother Lavonne Furman of Cedar Rapids; and his significant other Shirley Fraise of Shellsburg. He is also survived by several uncles, aunts and cousins.
