He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Lindsey and Lucille Blanchard Lindsey; his stepparents, Lillian Lindsey and Chalmer "Bud" Meaker; and his brother Lawrence Lindsey.
He is survived by: his wife Judy Nutt; his children, Terry Lindsey, Keith Lindsey (Teresa) and Tammie Coonrod; his daughter-in-law Virginia Lindsey; and his brother Marvin Lindsey (Helen McClain) of Vinton. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
