He is survived by: his former spouse Lynn Emrud; his wife Kris Hilsabeck of Vinton; his daughters, Andrea Salzmann (Charlie Donnells) of Minnesota, Danielle Kahn (Shamsher) of Texas and Stephanie "Stevi" Salzmann (D. J. Stander) of Vinton; and his sister LuAnn Novak of Minnesota.
