He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Wessling and Lillian Kimm Wessling; his sister Mary Ann McNeal; and his brothers-in-law, Duane and Bill Rippel.
He is survived by: his former wife Marjorie Rippel; his wife Marge of Vinton; his children, Rick Wessling of Minneapolis, MN and Becky Staedtler (Dan) of Ames; his granddaughters, Erin Wessling of Boston, MA and Molly Golubowicz (Alex) of Minneapolis, MN; his brother Mark Wessling; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Rippel (Sharon), Mary Rippel and Sondra Rippel. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced.
