The memory of Peggy A. Harris of Vinton, Iowa, born in Strawberry Point, Iowa, who passed away on September 8, 2024 at the age of 73, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her father Robert Fortney; and her mother-in-law Elwanda Boston. She is survived by: her mother Alberta Fortney (Huntington) of Hutchinson, Kansas; her husband Jack Harris of Vinton; her daughters, Krista Hillman of Omaha and Shelly Glenn (Brandon) of Manning; her stepchildren, James Harris, Kelly Harris, Jason Harris and Jeremy Harris; and her siblings, Kathy Villa (Manuel) of Oelwein and Alan Fortney of Hutchinson, Kansas.. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, and many great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to The Cedar Valley Humane Society, and Breast Cancer Awareness.
