She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Jefferson and Eliza Lawson Sr. (Dunn); her husband Alex Kovacs; her daughter Georgia Lee Harris; and her grandson Kenneth Harris.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Daniel A. Harris II of Shellsburg; her grandson Daniel Harris III of Shellsburg; and her granddaughter-in-law Stacy Harris of Garrison. She is also survived by 5 great grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
