He is survived by: his children, Brett Thomsen (Keya) of Gladbrook, Brianna Thomsen of Vinton and Brooke Thomsen of Vinton; his granddaughter Sydney Thomsen; and his brothers, Matthew Thomsen (Inga) of Vinton and Dan Thomsen (Stacie) of Vinton.
