He was predeceased by: his parents, Wesley Horak and Mabel Huppert Horak; and his sister Dorothy Dake. He is survived by: his wife Thelma Margaret Dunkelberger of Vinton; his children, Brian Horak (Rene) of Mechanicsville, Brenda Turley (Kevin) of Cedar Rapids and Barbra Kuriger (Terry) of DeWitt; his great grandchildren, Anderson Merle and March; and his brother-in-law Ken Dake. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
