We bid farewell to Marcus C. Merchant of Vinton, Iowa, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 21, 2025 at the age of 59. Marcus C. touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father James "Jim" Merchant; his siblings, Dennis and Denise; and his great-niece Elsie Dulin. He is survived by: his mother Donna Merchant (Schirm) of Vinton; his sons, Bryce Merchant (Colleen) of Vinton and Nathan Merchant (Jordan) of Vinton; his grandsons, Kip Merchant and McCoy Merchant; and his brothers, Allan Merchant (Teresa) of Vinton, Mike Merchant of Garrison and Scott Merchant (Annette) of Vinton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for distribution to several of Marc's favorite charities.
