She was predeceased by: her husband Raymond Miller; her son Bradley Miller; her siblings, Lyle, Burl Covington and Betty Long (Floyd); and her parents, Cecil Covington and Gertie Mae Covington (Hopper).

She is survived by: her children, Rick Miller (Jackie) of Rowlett, TX, Gary Miller (Kathy), Doug Miller of Ankeny, Greg Miller (Nancy) of Humboldt, Dwight Miller (Wendy) of Broxton, GA and Dianne Blocker (Jim) of Oxford, MI; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Covington of Hiawatha and Vivian Covington of Vinton. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established.

“I'm sorry for the loss of your family member, Her Dad Cecil was my father Carl's brother. Which made Leah my first cousin. I am going to be out of town so will not be able to attend, I didn't know about your Aunt Betty's passing. We had a lot of good times when we were kids. Don Primus and I are now the only first cousin's left. We live with our memories. God Bless all of you. My prayers are with you all. Shirley DeNeve.”
