It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Junior Ray Phelps (Vinton, Iowa), born in Iowa City, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Merle Troxel and Pearl Phelps Troxel; his wife Earlene Rundel; and his siblings, Raymond Troxel and Lois Fuss.
He is survived by: his daughters, Glenna McNeal (Darryl) of Vinton, Connie Gilbert of Vinton and Patty Linsley (David) of Vinton. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and sixteen great- grandchildren.
