He is survived by: his children, Jackie Schreder (Joe) of Cedar Rapids, Janelle McHugh (David) of Naperville, IL, Jayne Beecham of Ankeny, Jeff Pitz (Tracy) of Chantilly, VA, Jay Pitz (Dawn Masone) of Madison, WI and Joel Pitz (Kristine) of Ankeny. He is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
