She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Merrill Orion and Margaret Stickney Eiel (Jones); her husband Jim; her son John; her brother Jack Eiel; and her brother-in-law Bob Peterson.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Peterson (Julie) of Vinton and Steve Peterson (Kathleen) of Madison, WI; her grandchildren, Kelsey Keyes (Greg), Lauren Meadows (Bryan), Maggie, Claire, Kayla, Kendra Peterson and Philip Johnson (Brooke); her great grandchildren, Brody, Cole, Mason Keyes and Hugh Meadows; and her sisters-in-law, Lauren Eiel of Delaware and Jan Peterson of Texas.
A memorial fund has been established.
