It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Howard Bright of Vinton, Iowa, born in Nevada, Missouri, who passed away on January 2, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bright and Veder Bright (Bishop); his son Robb Bright; his close friend Cathie Simmons; and his siblings, Sylvia, Lelabelle, Jean, Everett and Calvin.
He is survived by: his son Lon Bright (Stephanie) of Anamosa; his grandchildren, Heather DeMeulenaere (Charles) of Palo, Holly Bright of Cedar Rapids, Alexa and Ellie Bright of Anamosa; and his siblings, Bonnie Richards and Moe Bright. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
