She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Horsman of Pleasantville and Viola Horsman (Reeves); her husband James Hodgson of Vinton; her daughters, Marijke Hodgson of Des Moines and Erika Hodgson of Vinton; her granddaughters, Gretta Dilley of Vinton and Sophia Dilley of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Pam Mohr (Tom) of Pleasantville and Rodney Horsman (Brenda); her uncle Harold Horsman of Pleasantville; and her grandparents, Logan, Bernadine Conn, Court and Lola Horsman.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Van Steenhuyse-Teahen Funeral Home (1212 1st Ave, Vinton, IA 52349). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Evergreen Cemetery (1002 E 10th St, Vinton, IA 52349). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Vinton Country Club (314 N 9th Ave, Vinton, IA 52349).
