She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Rose and Maggie Rose (Amundson); her husband Donald E. Whitson; her grandchildren, Jenny Whitson and Dan Flaugh; and her siblings, Lewis, Walter Rose, Alice Brockschink and Mary Rose.
She is survived by: her children, Mary Buhr (John), David Whitson (Diana) and Kathryn Flaugh (Jim); and her grandchildren, Susie Henkle (Alan), Stacie Buhr, Stephanie Van (Mike), Sant, Jamie Timmerman (Kevin), Jeffrey Whitson and Ryan Flaugh (Kris). She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
