With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Greta (Whitmer) Geiken (Vinton, Iowa), born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on August 8, 2019 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James A. Whitmer and Velma B. Whitmer (Jordan); her husband Myron B. L. Geiken; and her brothers, Wayne and Keith Whitmer.
She is survived by: her children, Deb Fenton (Bob) of Omaha, NE, Denise Brodigan (Randie) of Dysart, Dixie Sturtz of Dysart, Deanna Yocum (Tom) of Gilmer, TX and Steven Geiken (Kim) of Omaha, NE; and her sister-in-law Barb Whitmer of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.
