She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Schminke and Martha Schminke (Bierschenk); and her siblings, Velma VanScoy, Glenn Schminke (Lita) and Gerald Schminke (Adah).
She is survived by: her husband Mearl "Sonny" Hagen; her children, Curtis Hagen (Pat) of Delovan, WI, Paul Hagen (Mary) of Marion, Dawn Hagen (Brian Steckelberg) of Loveland, CO and Mary Williams (Steven) of Vinton; her grandchildren, Meredith Zuspann (Aaron) of Vinton, Grant Hagen (Natalie) of Richardson, TX, Benjamin Williams (Sarah) of Newhall, Wesly Williams (Beth) of New Haven, IN and Molly Arens (Hunter) of Waterloo; her great grandchildren, Claire Zuspann, Henry Hagen, Ruth, Esther and Martha Williams; her brother Virgil Schminke (Sharon) of Vinton; and her brother-in-law Robert VanScoy of Winterset. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
