He was predeceased by: his parents, Morris Eckhart and Delia Lacross Eckhart; his wife Nelda Ruth Primmer; his son Morris Eckhart; his siblings, Lloyd, Robert, Donald Eckhart, Irene, May and Mabel; and his sister-in-law Arlene Eckhart.
He is survived by: his grandmother Geiger; his daughters, Barbara Dauenbaugh, Ida Higgins (Morris), Debra Kay Larson (Bill) and Tammy Jo Eckhart (Tom Lee); his daughter-in-law Marti Eckhart; his sister-in-law June Eckhart; and his brother Charles Eckhart. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren.
