With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erik Dean Studer of Vinton, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on March 1, 2023 at the age of 26. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Francis and Ione Grandgeorge. He is survived by: his parents, Dean Studer and Christine Studer; his grandparents, Maxine and Rollin; his nieces and nephews, Lloyd, Oswin, Iona, Ingrid, Wilfred and Franklin; his siblings, Seth (Nicole), Camille (Nick), Laura (Jonathan), Emily (John), Nile (Kaiti) and Sophia; and his fiancé Paige. He is also survived by his friends and family.

Condolences can be sent to Phillips Funeral Home in Vinton—in lieu of flowers, please contribute to the Memorial Fund that will be established in Erik's name.
