He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Sr and Mary Fuehrer Sr (Vogt); his wife Marian; and his siblings, Mike Fuehrer, Lyle "Shorty" Fuehrer, Ethel "Tillie" Dake, LaVonne "Bonnie" Bolton, Leone "Peg" Demmel Oyler and Ruth "Betty" Mussman.
He is survived by: his daughters, Paula Happel (Jim) of Vinton and Amy Garwood (Tom) of Vinton; his grandsons, Adam Happel (Annie) of Vinton and Brian Happel (Stacie) of Vinton; his great grandchildren, Beckett Happel, Kinzlee Happel and Cole Happel; and his brother Jim Fuehrer (Judy) of Shellsburg.
