She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Covington and Nellie Covington (Ferguson); her significant other Richard "Dick" William Eldridge of Vinton; her son Steven; her brothers, Richard Covington and Glenn Covington; her brother-in-law Fred DeNeve; her parents-in-law, William and Amber Eldridge (Hummel); and her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Gilroy, Joe Eldridge, Maurice Gilroy and Donald Eldridge.
She is survived by: her granddaughters, Rev. Jill Cameron Michel, Rev. Tammy Buseman and Pastor Dick Jumper; her children, Linda (Ken Jans) and Dennis (Lindley Eldridge); her granddaughters, Angela Eldridge (Larry Pledge) of Marion, Amy Cameron (Tammy Buseman) of Marion, Jill Michel (Jim) of North Liberty, Nicole Eldridge of Eldon and Kaleena Eldridge of Rocky Mount; her stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Robinson (Darryl) of Overland Park and Melissa Cotton (Steven) of Bettendorf; her sister Shirley DeNeve of Van Horne; and her siblings-in-law, Nelda Covington of Temple, TX., Betty Eldridge of Dubuque, Nancy Eldridge of Raleigh, N. C., Margaret Oler (Wayne) of Iowa Falls, Mary Heitz (John) of Marion and Robert Eldridge (Lorraine) of Maynard. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
