She was predeceased by: her husband Bert; her siblings, Steve, Dave Roberts, Joyce Roberts Wadman, Anna Roberts Valley and Linda Roberts Orcutt; and her parents, Thomas Roberts and Ottilia Roberts (Trinko).

She is survived by: her sons, Tom Garwood (Amy) of Vinton, Gary Garwood (Mona) of Vinton, Charles Garwood (Connie) of Vinton and Scott Garwood (LeAnn) of Dysart; her brothers, Clinton and John Roberts; and her sisters-in-law, Muriel and Susie Roberts. She is also survived by seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Vinton Fire Department or the Vinton Library.
