We are sad to announce that on June 18, 2023, at the age of 71, Donald Ray Halstead of Vinton, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Halstead and Mae Halstead (Mills); his wife Denise Owens; and his siblings-in-law, Eugene Owens, Jr. and Ellen Halstead.

He is survived by: his children, Donnie Halstead (Jenny) and Deanne Thomsen (Tony); his grandsons, Jared Willard, Dakotah and Brady Halstead; his great grandchildren, Mia and Quinnlea Willard; his brothers, Darwin (Janice), Wayne and Laverne Halstead (Mary); and his sisters-in-law, Annesley Gunderson (Gary) and Barb Owens.

A memorial fund has been established.
