David Carl Henkle Obituary

We are sad to announce that on February 21, 2025, at the age of 77, David Carl Henkle of Vinton, Iowa passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of David Carl Henkle to pay them a last tribute.

In the sacred silence of farewell, David Carl is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hollis Henkle and Elsie Henkle (Schueler); and his nephew Nicholas Strootman. He is survived by: his sister Kay Strootman (Sherman); his nieces and nephews, Jessica Morar (Justin) of Omaha, NE, Lennon, Blakely and Milo Morar; and his pet Stuart.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Phillips Funeral Home Chapel (212 E 6th St, Vinton, IA 52349).

A memorial fund has been established.
